PRIVATE EVENTS at TENTH HOUSE

Tenth House offers a warm, intimate setting for private gatherings, celebrations, and corporate events. Our team will create a customized dining experience that highlights our seasonal menu and thoughtful hospitality.

    Family Feast — $100 per person

    • 2 starters

    • 2 pastas

    • 1 dessert

    Mafia Style — $150 per person

    • 7 total dishes

  • (Minimum spend before tax, gratuity, and admin fee)

    SUMMER (June – September)

    • Dinner buyout (3pm–10pm): $8,000

    • Brunch/Lunch buyout (8am–2pm): $5,000

    SHOULDER SEASON (September – December, April – May)

    • Dinner buyout (3pm–10pm): $6,000

    • Brunch/Lunch buyout (8am–2pm): $3,500

    DEEP WINTER (January – March)

    • Dinner buyout (3pm–10pm): $4,000

    • Brunch/Lunch buyout (8am–2pm): $2,500

    HOLIDAY & PEAK WEEKENDS

    Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve/Day, and island-wide festivals (such as the San Juan County Fair) are priced at Summer minimums, regardless of season.

    FULL-DAY CLOSURES

    Tenth House is open for brunch/lunch on weekends. Events that require closing the restaurant for both brunch/lunch and dinner service the same day are subject to higher buyout minimums:

    • Summer: $12,000

    • Shoulder: $9,000

    • Deep Winter: $6,000

    • Final guest count is due 14 days prior to the event when menus are confirmed.

    • Vendors onsite (photographers, planners, musicians, etc.) who require a meal must be included in the final headcount.

    • Billing is based on the guaranteed count or actual attendance — whichever is greater.

    • Capacity limits: 40 guests indoors, 80 guests outdoors.

    • Weather note: Outdoor seating is weather-dependent. In case of inclement weather, guest count must be reduced to indoor capacity (40 max). Clients are responsible for securing tents or additional rentals if planning for outdoor service.

    • A $2,000 deposit is required to secure your date.

    • Deposits are refundable if cancelled more than 3 months prior to the event.

    • Final payment is due at the close of the event.

    • Payments may be made via credit card or ACH. Late balances are subject to a 5% weekly fee.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    • Deposit is non-refundable within 3 months of the event.

    • If cancelled more than 30 days before the event: deposit retained, no further charges.

    • If cancelled 14–30 days prior: client responsible for 50% of buyout minimum.

    • If cancelled within 7 days: client responsible for 75% of buyout minimum.

  • Event Hours

    • Brunch/Lunch: 8am–2pm (service begins at 9am)

    • Dinner: 3pm–10pm (service begins at 5pm)

    • Early setup may be possible with approval.

    • Overtime charges: $500 per additional hour, subject to staff and kitchen availability.

    Beverage Service

    • All beverage service is provided by Tenth House.

    • Case discounts may be available upon request, dependent on sourcing.

    • No outside beverages are permitted.

    • Last call is 30 minutes prior to event end time.

    Vendors & Setup

    • All outside vendors must be approved in advance.

    • Vendors must load in/out within contracted event hours.

    • Clients are responsible for any vendor rental fees (florals, décor, tents, etc.).

    • For outdoor events, tents must be arranged by the client.

    Liability

    • Clients are responsible for any damage to restaurant property or rentals caused by guests or vendors.

    • Tenth House is not liable for lost or stolen personal items.

    • In the event of ferry cancellations, power outages, or other circumstances beyond our control, Tenth House is not liable for cancellations or damages.

Tenth House is not an off-site catering service. While we love hosting celebrations, we do not offer drop-off, pick-up, or staffed catering at other locations. We are happy to welcome you into our space for private events and full restaurant buyouts — designed and served in-house by our team.
